Our guild, thus far...

Since we restarted the Bucs in late 2007, we have grown to a considerable size. People have come and gone, and we miss those that have departed.

It is my pleasure to say that we have come very far, and seem to be a very tightly-knit group of players that want to succeed and progress at our own pace. While this has shown us some difficult times, it has also given us the strength needed to expand and achieve great things.

We mastered Karazhan.
We've mastered Naxxramas.
We're working on Ulduar at the present time.

But what has it taken for us to get this far? Dedication, patience, and a little bit of luck. I'm proud to be the leader of this amazing guild, and I want everyone to know that I'm very appreciative of your time and effort. It makes this game enjoyable.

So where do we go from here?

We need to grow a little bit more, use these forums as a tool and a way to kick back from the grind of the game, to share stories and to grow together even outside of the game, because I'm sure that 99% of the people in this guild are really good people in the real world. I'm not suggesting an IRL guild meeting quite yet, but it's a possibility I'd like to think about. I mean, who wouldn't want to try and beat me in raiding a liquor closet?

All that aside, I want to say that I fucking <3 you guys and gals, and want us to continue to do great things.

The one thing we need to work on, and it's been apparent since the reformation... is COMMUNICATION.

I will be adding a forum for attendance issues where people can post if they will not be able to make it, even if it's days, weeks, or months in the future. This will ensure that we get the most bang for our buck, and that we don't get angry at people for no-showing when the calendar invites were accepted.

In conclusion, we are the Buccaneers of Doom. We're just like the Wu Tang Clan - we ain't nothin' to fuck with.
